250th Anniversary of the American Revolution Reception
“South Carolina Revolutionary War Exhibit”
An event hosted by the Hartsville Museum on Thursday, March 26, 2026, from 5 -7 PM at the Hartsville Museum located at 222 North 5th Street, Hartsville, SC. 29550. This event will feature the collection of Navy veteran Mike Smith. Smith is a resident of Hartsville. He has spent years building a South Carolina-centered collection focused on the American Revolution.

Choose between 2 Training Sessions and join in the fun in May to preserve images of our community treasures on (Sunday, April 12, or Saturday, April 25, 2026, 3 PM – 4 PM).
Help Us Build Our Modern Photo Collection
Are you good with your cellphone camera or a DSLR? Do you like taking pictures? If so, we need your help!
We will be hosting a community photography event in May to help strengthen our photographic collection at the Archive and to document historical treasures within our communities. Our goal is to document as many of our communities as possible and who knows the local treasures better than the locals within each community.
